Jenna Schafer

My name is Jenna Schafer, and I was born on January 16, 1989, in Burien, Washington. My childhood was a tapestry woven with love, resilience, and the boundless energy of a house filled with children. Raised by my incredible single mother, I grew up alongside my biological brother. Our family expanded in a unique and heartwarming way when my grandmother, who was raising four non-biological children, passed away when I was ten. Without hesitation, my mother adopted them, bringing our household to a bustling total of six kids.

Our home was always alive with the sounds of laughter and play. We spent countless hours outside, our imaginations transforming the simplest of moments into grand adventures. Despite the challenges, my mother worked multiple jobs to ensure we had everything we needed. Her selflessness and dedication are the cornerstones of my inspiration. I aspire to emulate her love, generosity, and strength in my own life.

One of the most significant milestones in my life was marrying my best friend in 2017, but my greatest accomplishment by far is being a mother to my two incredible children—a five-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl. They are the driving force behind my desire to constantly improve and provide them with an amazing life, instilling in them the same work ethic and values that my mother imparted to me.

Professionally, I have been a part of the Nordstrom Corporate Office since 2011. Currently, I hold the position of Finance Manager of Accounts Payable, leading a dedicated team of 25. Although this role aligns with my skills and has been a dream job in many ways, my passion lies in personal growth and new challenges. In 2023, I seized an exciting opportunity to obtain my real estate license under the mentorship of Jana, a trusted friend and expert whom I have known for over a decade. This chance to learn from the best was simply unmissable.

Outside of my professional life, my greatest joy comes from spending time with my family. Success, to me, means achieving a balance where I can be present for my loved ones while also maintaining financial security and continually challenging myself. I am deeply passionate about personal development and always seek ways to grow and evolve.

In the future, I aim to combine my skills in finance and real estate to create a fulfilling career that allows me to spend more quality time with my family. My ultimate goal is to be a source of strength and inspiration for my children, just as my mother has been for me. I am committed to creating a life where love, hard work, and personal growth are the cornerstones.
